Bill Introduced to Help Regulate Breeders, Creating Standard of Care for Dogs in WI
On 4/8/09, Representative Jeff Smith and Senator Pat Kreitlow announced their joint House/Senate bill to provide for licensing and inspection of breeders and sellers of dogs which ultimately creates a standard of care for dogs. This bill is the culmination of years of work by animal welfare groups across the State, most notably the Wisconsin Puppy Mill Project, Inc.
