Hello pet parents!
My name is Ava and I am the Coulee Region Humane Society Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I have been training dogs in the Coulee Region since 2013 and look forward to meeting you and your four legged companion!
I have had dogs throughout my life and have worked with all different breeds from the smallest teacup Yorkshire Terriers to the largest of Irish Wolfhounds. I have four furry family members of my own. “Remi” is a 9 year old poodle/bichon mix who helped build my basic training and trick training skills over the years. “Johnny” is my 2 year old German Shepherd/Poodle mix who has served often as a demo dog in many of my Canine Good Citizen Evaluations. “Ben Nevis” is my 1 year old, energetic and extremely intelligent Border Collie who has completed Junior Obedience and Agility classes at CRHS. And finally, our newest addition to the pack is little miss Frankie. I adopted Frankie, a Cavapoochon puppy, from CRHS in February 2019 and couldn’t be happier with her.
I am here to be a resource for you and your family. Whether you’ve adopted from CRHS or not, I want to help you and your dog have the best possible experience. I can help with a wide range of objectives, whether you are wanting to teach basic commands or need to work through extreme reactivity issues.
Please reach out with any questions or to sign up for upcoming classes. Not sure which class your dog fits into? I’ll help!
