Hi, i’m lucy!

ABOUT :

  • Type Of Animal: Cat

  • Breed:

  • Age: 5

  • Gender: Female

  • Up To Date On Vaccinations: Yes

  • Spayed/Neutered: Yes

  • Is the cat declawed: No

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: ): I have children in the home that are middle school/high school age, and she has never been aggressive, she is more on the timid side. But, I think she would do best in a quiet house (and that could be with kids, but is not the case with mine).

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: There is one other cat in the home that sometimes attacks her (not playing at all), and she does defend herself. Mostly they get along though, and I think she would do fine with a cat that is very calm and cuddly.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: This is untested, I have no dogs.

  • Things need to work on: She is a super anxious girl, and responds to stress by peeing outside of the litter box. We've checked this out with the vet several times and this is a behavioral thing vs. medical.

  • Favorite activities: She loves to play - or will sometimes sit and closely watch while we play the other cat in the house with wands. She really loves pets, and likes belly rubs. She likes to come over and flop on the ground belly up for loves. She really like these particular balls with bells inside, and she will bring toys to our bed while we sleep. She sometimes will sleep in our bed, too. She is not a huge lap cat, but more often likes to sit next to someone for cuddles.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: She is not a big treat eater. She like soft balls with bells inside, and feather wands.

  • Unique personality traits: She desperately acts like she wants to go outside, but if you let her out she is back at the door in 15 minutes frantically trying to claw her way back in (we tested indoor/outdoor with this behavior issue but she is an indoor girl for sure). She will be outside for longer if you are outside, too. She needs a reliable, comforting human - she like reassurance. She startles easily, and is just a little higher strung. But she is gentle and sweet.

  • Ideal home: Quiet, no kids, no dogs.
