WildLife Rehabilitation

Helping All Animals, Large and Small

We receive hundreds of injured and/or orphaned animals every year.

    • Chipmunk / Squirrels / Ground Squirrels

    • Rabbits

    • Other Rodents (Voles, Mice, Etc.)

    • Opossums

    • Bats* (currently there are rehab restrictions)

    • Ducklings

    • Pigeons

    • Hawks

    • Falcons

    • Owls

    • Songbirds

    • Waterfowl and Waders

We can assist with the transport of additional injured and/or orphaned species if a licensed rehab facility is able to take them.

    • Raccoons

    • Bobcat

    • Foxes

    • Turtles

    • Eagles

Animal Control will respond to wildlife calls in the following circumstances:

  • If an animal is a bat, skunk, raccoon, or fox and there are concerns for potential rabies exposure resulting in sending the animal in for testing

  • Animal Control Supervisor may go out on injured raptor calls depending on the situation and if ACS has availability.

We will always accept wild animals from applicable locations if they are obviously sick, injured, or truly orphaned. However our abilitiy to rehabilitate is based on the age, condition, and species of the animal.

Animal Control will not relocate otherwise healthy wildlife.

We Can’t Do It Without You
