  • Is the cat declawed: No

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: Has not been around kids. If she has been, she hides.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: Grew up with and older cat. Never interacted much with him. We have a 6yr old, that Poppy is not happy with. She would do better as an only cat.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: She loves our golden retriever. She rubs up to him and follows him. Our aussiedoodle moves to fast for her.

  • Things need to work on: She is currently not always using the litter pan. She feels picked on by the other cat. I have 3 litter pans, with 1 of those in a different room and no cover. I have tried pheromones, collared and plug in. I have tried a special made calming creme. Nothing helps.

  • Favorite activities: Poppy will sit near us or occasionally on a lap. She is not great with people outside of our home.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: She will carry toys and likes our home grown catnip.

  • Unique personality traits: She is more mellow as she ages, but still would be better in a 1 cat home.

  • Ideal home: Quieter home. Or you may not see much of her. She loves are screened in porch. Needs to be only cat. Calm dog may be ok. Not a good idea to be around kids.
