Hi, we’re Pumpkin & Lulu!
ABOUT :
Type Of Animal: Cat
Breed: Domestic Short Hairs
Age: Lulu (Grey): 7, Pumpkin (White w/grey/striped spots): 7
Gender: Both female
Up To Date On Vaccinations: Both no
Spayed/Neutered: Both yes
Is the cat declawed: Both all 4 paws
Experience with and how well do they interact with children:
Lulu: She has been around small children (infant to 6 years old) and does okay with them. I think she may do better with older children or in a household without children at all. She is more skittish/afraid of loud noises, but once she warms up, she does great. She doesn't love being picked up, but enjoys curling up on your lap on her own accord. We have never had any behavioral issues with our children.
Pumpkin: She does great with children of all ages from a newborn on up. She is very playful and will let you pick her up and pet her. She will give you a warning when she needs her space, but has never bit anyone.Experience with and how well do they interact with cats:
Lulu: She is bonded with her sister (same litter), Pumpkin, and I would love for them to be rehomed together if possible. She has also been around our 14-year-old cat and gets along with her as well. No issues with other cats for our experience.
Pumpkin: She does great with other cats. She is bonded with her sister, Lulu and I would love for both to go to the same home. They are both 7 years old and are from the same litter. Pumpkin has also gotten along very well with our 14-year-old cat. We have never had any behavioral issues with her. She is 4 paw declawed so that would need to be taken into consideration.Experience and how well do they interact with dogs:
Lulu: She has never been around a dog. I don't think being around a medium or large dog would be good for her. She would possibly do okay with a smaller dog as long as it had a calm demeanor.
Pumpkin: She has never interacted with a dog before, but if introduced slowly, I think she would do just fine, especially if they have a calmer demeanor.Things need to work on:
Lulu: No, she is a great cat. She has never had any litter box or behavioral issues.
Pumpkin: No issues. She is a wonderful, playful, loving cat. She enjoys playing, being pet, and curling up on your lap.Favorite activities:
Lulu: She is slow to warm up, but she enjoys a laser pointer and a warm lap to curl up in. She also enjoys her cat bed and/or an enclosed box.
Pumpkin: She loves playing with a string toy, laser pointer, milk rings, but also enjoys being on your lapFavorite treats and/or toys:
Lulu: She enjoys canned food and greenies treats (pretty much all flavors). She likes a laser pointer and milk rings.
Pumpkin: She is not a fan of canned (wet) food. She likes greenies treats or temptations (most all flavors).Unique personality traits:
Lulu: She does not like to be pick up/held, but she LOVES snuggling on your lap or near your feet. She rarely meows. She does take time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable, she is very loyal. She enjoys being brushed.
Pumpkin: She is a very playful, curious cat, that also enjoys curling up on your lap or near you when given the opportunity. We have never had any behavioral or litter box issues. She also enjoys snuggling up with her sister in a cat bed and/or covered box. She is very social. We have taken her outside on a cat leash on our deck/driveway and she enjoys chewing on grass.Ideal home:
Lulu: Her ideal home would be somewhere with her sister, Pumpkin, whom she is bonded with. She would like a more quiet home, but would warm up to a busier home. She makes a fantastic lap kitty. She deserves a home that will give her lots of love and affection. She would do okay with another cat in home, maybe a calm, small dog, but she is 4 paw declawed so that would need to be taken into consideration. She is an indoor ONLY cat.
Pumpkin: Her ideal home would be with her bonded sister, Lulu. She would be okay in a busy or quiet home and would do fine with our without kids. She would also be fine going into another home with pets as long as they were introduced slowly. They are both 4 paw declawed so they would also be great for a family with small children or an elderly home.Best way to contact: Email, hnbeine@gmail.com
