Hi, i’m rogue!
ABOUT :
Type Of Animal: Cat
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Age: 4yrs
Gender: Female
Up To Date On Vaccinations: Yes
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Is the cat declawed: No
Experience with and how well do they interact with children: Rogue tolerates our two-year old, and acknowledges our second child that arrived this spring. Rogue will carry on with her lounging most of the time, but steers clear and hides when things get loud in the house.
Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: No other cats in home. CRHS suggested Rogue be in a one cat family when we had her there for spaying.
Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: Tolerates and sometimes cohabitates well with our 8 year old, 70lb dog. When he gets in her space and pushes boundaries, she'll warn him.
Things need to work on: Only factor is that Rogue has been pooping outside of the litterbox, intermittently, in the same spot near one of her litter boxes. This started off and on when we moved into our current place two years ago and had our first child. We just welcomed our second child, and issues have increased since then.
Favorite activities: Rogue loves to lounge in sunny spots and high or tucked away places. She still occasionally chases toys and things around the house. In the evening, she loves a couple treats and to curl up near us.
Favorite treats and/or toys: Rogue loves dry treats and scratching posts.
Unique personality traits: Rogue is wary of strangers, and prefers to keep her distance until she warms up after a while. She has a great internal clock and knows when her feeder will go off and when it is treat time. She loves the head boop and nuzzle when seeking attention.
Ideal home: Rogue would do best as a single cat in a quieter home. I believe she would do well with older children and up to one dog that knows boundaries. As long as she can bask in the sun during the day and get treats and pets at night, she'll be quite content in the long run.
