  • Energy level/ daily exercise needs: : Low (minimum15-30 minutes) – leash walk or time spent in yard.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: We have three young children infant, 3 and 4 years old. We’ve never had an incident with biting or aggression towards the children. However she gets excited when they are exhibiting a lot of energy and because she is a big dog compared to small kids she has bumped them or stepped on them at times. The biggest issue we have is the kids opening doors to outside and her running away.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: She has never been around a cat.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: She has been around a number of dogs at dog parks and within the home. And she does well with most dogs. But will react to dogs who react to her. Not every dog enjoys her energetic play style.

  • Things need to work on: Jumping up when visitors come. Running away when doors are open. She doesn’t bark constantly but will guard bark when strangers come to the door.

  • Favorite activities: Walking, fetch, running, running with while bike riding.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys:  Any treats and toys.

  • Unique personality traits: She gets very excited to see her favorite people, very social and affectionate.

  • Ideal home: She would do best with family with older kids, a family that is very active, she would do well around other pets depending on the other dogs personality. Boy dog more likely than girl dog. The number one thing she would love is more time to be active with her.
