  • Energy level/ daily exercise needs: Low (minimum15-30 minutes) – leash walk or time spent in yard.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: He generally ignores them but will snarl/snap if they get in his face. We have 2 children, 5 and 8, and have had friends' kids over of similar age that he will eye and do the same thing.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: He is excellent with cats, we have 2 cats in the house and he is really great with them.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: We have a large outside dog that he does well with. He will wander with other dogs if given the opportunity.

  • Things need to work on: He will wander off the property if he has a friend to go with him, and he will decide not to go to the bathroom outside and come inside and poop or pee (usually sneak downstairs in our house).

  • Favorite activities: Lounging around nearby.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: Bones, really anything.

  • Unique personality traits: Listed above, he does not like children or women in particular in his face. In general, anyone who has had jack russells or other small dogs will recognize this "small dog" behavior, he's just unpredictably weird about certain situations.

  • Ideal home: A perfect home for him would be a single male, or a couple with no or older children, or a retired couple. He does not need a ton of exercise, a couple rounds of fetch in the yard an/or a short daily walk will suffice him. He enjoys napping on his chair or sitting outside.
