  • Energy level/ daily exercise needs: High (minimum 1.5-2 hours of vigorous exercise)

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: Maggie is good with children of all ages.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: Maggie chases cats and shouldn’t be around them.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: Maggie interacts well with some dogs and not with others
    She is generally dog aggressive and needs a home with no other dogs.

  • Things need to work on: Maggie has extreme noise anxiety (Storms, loud trucks, water hoses, water softener, any machine type noise, banging) she cannot be kenneled or she will injure herself trying to get free. She also has separation anxiety and will scratch and bite doors if left alone. She is medicated and still has extreme anxiety.

  • Favorite activities: Maggie lives to play fetch. She is very active. She loves frisbees, balls, toys, walks, at rides, running. She loves to be pet and brushed.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: Maggie likes bacon and meat treats. She doesn’t like peanut butter

  • Unique personality traits: Maggie is very smart and loves people.
    She is always listening and peeking up her ears.
    She is very affectionate and loves kisses and butt scratches.
    She is gentle around kids and babies.
    Her anxieties and dog aggression are very extreme though and the reason why we are hoping to rehome her.

  • Ideal home: This is really a last resort. We love her for the sweet, cute, active, healthy, and smart dog she is, but we don’t know how to help her with her issues. She is harming herself if left alone and hears a loud noise/gets scared.
    She has broke her teeth and is missing her left canine from biting door knobs.
    We are looking for a very specific person that can train and desensitize her and hopefully help with her fears and anxiety issues.
    It would also need to be a home with no other pets as she is aggressive and wants to only be near people.
