  • Energy level/ daily exercise needs: High (minimum 1.5-2 hours of vigorous exercise) – jogging/hiking partner with play time (most huskies)

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: Used to kids of all ages, but exhibits anxious behavior. Has nipped.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: Has always been around cats. Does have high prey drive. Used to chase, trained to "leave it"

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: Has always had a canine companion (large). Leaves neighbor dog (small) alone. May be reactive to off-leash dogs she's not familiar with. Has nipped puppies that haven't learned boundaries (harder than a correction)

  • Things need to work on: Has resource (food and ball) guarding.
    Will charge trespassers. Seems initially wary around males.
    Will chase anything that runs away.
    Has tested positive for Lyme.

  • Favorite activities: Loves fetch. Loves hiking. Loves attention.
    Prefers to always be by your side.
    Would make an excellent jogging companion. Loves bees.
    High prey drive and motivated by treats or ball. Could be trained for hunting.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: Balls, balls, balls. Bully sticks, bones, liver, chicken poop.

  • Unique personality traits: Generally has good recall, can be trained to stay within the yard, protective, high prey drive.

  • Ideal home:  Would make an excellent guard dog, but would likely do best in a home with respectful children. May get used to a canine companion with proper introductions. Used to chickens. Would do great with a "job".
