  • Energy level/ daily exercise needs: High (minimum 1.5-2 hours of vigorous exercise) – jogging/hiking partner with play time (most huskies).

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: Since I have had her she has not had any experiences around children.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: She has been around cats as I have 2 of them! She loves to snuggle with them. Although her size sometimes freaks cats out, she is as sweet and gentle as can be. She lets them come up to her first and lays down so they can sniff her and feel it out before reacting to them.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: She has been around my parents dog who is a male yellow lab, about 125 lbs. They play well together and love to snuggle! She does occasionally get jealous of him and nip at him, however he does the same thing to her. They like to run in the backyard together a lot. My parents have a 7 acre backyard and lots of room to roam within range of their collar and remotes.

  • Things need to work on: She definitely jumps a little bit, since she is so excited to see people. She barks a little bit but mostly when she sees/hears a noise she is unfamiliar with or when her people arrive home. She makes a very great watch dog as she is very observant.

  • Favorite activities: - She loves to be outside and run/ go for walks (does well with her no-pull harness)
    - She loves swimming - She loves to snuggle

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: She loves ropes (she is very strong and loves to play tug of war)
    - She has a NERF frisbee (one rubber and one kind of a foam texture) that she LOVES to play with
    - She loves when her people throw tennis balls, but only occasionally brings them back.

  • Unique personality traits: - She loves to give hugs (if you kneel down and wrap your arms around her, she will wrap her paws around you).
    - She likes to be gentle with her teeth when you feed her (if you say "gentle" in a kind, but stern voice she will gently nibble and grab things
    - She makes my mom pay the "bread/cheese" tax every time she opens the fridge
    - She LOVES to eat and play with ice cubes
    - She loves to wear jammies and little sweaters ( even though she will pull them off after a little bit)

  • Ideal home: - Her ideal home would be where someone is able to take her for walks/play outside with her
    - She for a while was used to having someone home with her most of the day, however she is able to be left unattended for a few hours. (up to 8 or so when needed)
    - She does good with other animals around and I definitely think she benefits from having a companion to keep her company. (However I do believe she could also be alright on her own as long as she has her humans).
