  • Experience with and how well do they interact with children: We got him when he was a baby and he hasn’t really been around kids, but the reason we’re looking into rehoming is because we had a baby 2 months ago and he hasn’t been coping well. He was great before then, so we’ve tried giving it time, but maybe if a family has kids that can play with him and give him lots of attention he would thrive.

  • Experience with and how well do they interact with cats: He generally likes other cats. Takes a bit to get used to them; he’s experienced living with one other cat for the first year of his life and he likes being around another cat.

  • Experience and how well do they interact with dogs: He’s had 2 interactions with a dog, 10-12 lbs. Both times were short visits and he was kind of scared at first then just curious. He kept his distance.

  • Things need to work on: No, but he is very curious. He likes opening cabinets and munching on plants (pet safe).

  • Favorite activities: Playing with strings and springs. He likes jumping up on his cat tree and drinking water from the faucet. He likes napping at the end of the bed or behind clothes hanging in a closet. He likes playing fetch with his toys too. He likes running around the house and us chasing after him.

  • Favorite treats and/or toys: Temptations cat treats. Springs, strings, catnip, and any little toy somebody can throw and he can chase after.

  • Unique personality traits: He plays fetch and opens cabinets to explore. He gets excited to play; he’s very active and needs attention.

  • Ideal home: I don’t think noise level is an issue. He’d probably do better with kids 4+ so they can play with him. He does like being around other cats, but he also does just fine being the only one.
